Soy sauce steamed fish

Soy sauce steamed fish
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4-6


Ingredients
2tbsp cooking oil
1 pomfret, about 750g,cleaned
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp shredded ginger
2 tbsp shredded spring onion, for garnishing
3 tbsp light soy sauce

Direction
Bring 3 liters of water to a boil, add fish, turn off fire and leave to soak in hot water for 15 minutes till cooked. Dish,drain and put onto a serving platter.
Heat up cooking oil, sauté chopped garlic and ginger till fragrant. Dish onto fish and pour in light soy sauce. Sprinkle spring onion on top as garnishing.
